I'm an experienced event producer and project manager, used to adapting on the fly. I successfully applied my theater background and experience producing my own shows in NYC to a fulfilling career in events. I spent years working at TheTimesCenter, learning from internal event producers and outside clients. I worked in every aspect of the operations of the the venue, from managing front of house to assisting with sales and marketing. In 2019, I joined the NYT Events team to support the production of the TimesTalks series throughout NYC. I had the pleasure of working on programs featuring big names like Marc Jacobs, The Wu-Tang Clan, Renee Zellweger, Lena Waithe, The Jonas Brothers, and Timothee Chalamet. I then moved on to work with the department more broadly, including our shift to virtual programming in 2020. This became a Program Manager role, working at the intersection of production, project management, and business management. I had the pleasure of working on a number of brand events for NYT including internal events, a subscriber growth series, and Dealbook programs in DC and NY.
That work led me to think more about how experiences perform beyond the event itself and into how they perform on platforms.
I’m currently an Experiences Market Lead at Airbnb, managing a portfolio of hosts across New York, the Northeast, and Montreal. My role sits between working directly with hosts and thinking about how the platform performs overall. I onboard new experiences, help improve performance and the guest experience, and identify trends that inform broader strategy and standards.
I’ve added some more details on the programs that I worked on the most closely and had the most impact in my professional life.
The New York Times Food Festival 10.08.22
I worked alongside the senior producer, Care of Chan, and Superfly to bring the 2022 Food Festival to life.
We brought some of the greatest minds in food to our stage at Damrosch Park including Ina Garten, Padma Lakshmi, Danny Meyer, Kwame Onwuachi, Rick MartÍnez and the cast and creators of FX’s “The Bear.” Midway through the day, we hosted a sparkling wine workshop with Chief Wine Critic Director, Eric Asimov and Director, Author, and Comedian and creator of Las Jaras Wines Eric Wareheim. We were joined by vendors from some of the best restaurants in New York City, including Bonnie’s, Sofreh, Aunts et Uncles, Ras Plant Based, Ernesto’s, and Dhamaka.
All the day’s sessions are available online here.
We created two custom activations for our sponsor, American Express. I had the pleasure of overseeing the build of the Contramar pop-up and worked with Chef Gabriela Camara as her and her team prepared in the NYT studio kitchen. We also created a booth with NYC restaurants making their takes of classic street fair food. I was able to select the four vendors we ended up working with and was a liaison between them and our restaurant partner, Resy. My team knows how much I love playlist-making and asked me to curate the music for the entire festival, working with vendors to source and clear music they regularly play in their restaurants.
T Book Club
I produced four virtual events for this Chanel sponsored program in collaboration with T Magazine in 2022. A holdover from the beginning of this program in 2021, we found that it had most reach and impact virtually and chose to keep it this way. For this iteration of the series, we focused on novels that had something to say about New York City. Kate Guadagnino, a T contributor, facilitated conversations with some of today’s most interesting literary minds. We live streamed these discussions via YouTube and facilitated a real time chat with viewers, who tuned in from all over the world.

NYT virtual programming 2020-2021
When it became clear that we wouldn’t be able to meet in person for a while, I was part of the team that worked to pivot immediately to virtual programming. Connecting to our readers in real time was as important as ever, no matter the challenge. We hit the ground running, producing up to three events a day as we were kicking off. Eventually, we slowed down and focused on producing less events at a higher production value. I worked with the Cooking desk to produce several events, including How to Cook Thanksgiving During a Pandemic and an interactive cookie swap featuring Melissa Clark. When the hosts of Still Processing wanted to reach their audience while the podcast was on break, I produced a special episode for them using our platform. We came out of the pandemic with a renewed relationship to our viewers and a fortified belief in the power of gathering.
TimesTalks 2018-2020
I joined The New York Times during a really exciting time in their events history. TimesTalks was in full force and we were often producing 2-3 a week. We invited some of the most exciting names in film, theater, literature, and pop culture at large to have on the record conversations with Times journalist in front of our audience. These ranged from more intimate settings of 100+ people and larger venues accommodating close to a thousand people. I had the pleasure of working in every area of this series. I worked with the Senior Producer on all areas of production and was in charge of on-site logistics including front of house supervision and talent management. I worked with the marketing team on campaigns and managed the Instagram and Twitter accounts. As we began to work on sponsored content for the program, I worked with the clients on their activations and decks. This was the longest running program I’ve worked on and I was able to see how a program develops and grows.
